A Snapshot of #GivingTuesday 2014

Giving Tuesday Summary

What do a puppy, Giving Tuesday and $500 have in common? The answer is Greater Giving.

We were busy this year working to support our community of organizations in easily and effectively launching their Giving Tuesday campaigns.

Here are some great resources you may have missed:

We volunteered at some of our favorite organizations in PDX:

Oregon Food Bank – at the warehouse, we packaged 4,250 lbs. of veggies. Their mission: to eliminate hunger and its root Harper's Playground Picturescauses … because no one should be hungry.

Harper’s Playground – at the playground, we cleaned-up and distributed their new delivery of sand for the sand box. Their mission: to inspire vital communities by creating innovative playgrounds for people of all abilities.

Dove Lewis – at the hospital, we decorated the office with a Christmas tree and some holiday spirit. Their mission: to provide the best emergency and critical care for companion animals, and to support veterinary professionals and the animal-loving community.

Oregon Humane Society – we walked in to volunteer and one of us walked out with a new puppy. Their mission: to foster an environment of respect, responsibility, and compassion for all animals through education, legislation, and leadership.
