We volunteered at some of our favorite organizations in PDX:
Oregon Food Bank – at the warehouse, we packaged 4,250 lbs. of veggies. Their mission: to eliminate hunger and its root causes … because no one should be hungry.
Harper’s Playground – at the playground, we cleaned-up and distributed their new delivery of sand for the sand box. Their mission: to inspire vital communities by creating innovative playgrounds for people of all abilities.
Dove Lewis – at the hospital, we decorated the office with a Christmas tree and some holiday spirit. Their mission: to provide the best emergency and critical care for companion animals, and to support veterinary professionals and the animal-loving community.
Oregon Humane Society – we walked in to volunteer and one of us walked out with a new puppy. Their mission: to foster an environment of respect, responsibility, and compassion for all animals through education, legislation, and leadership.
