Joey is the President of Utopia Entertainment, an event and video production company headquartered in St. Louis, MO. By the forced nature of the pandemic, Joey and his team were challenged to think creatively on how nonprofits might create a sense of community and belonging for their donors during a time of widespread fear and scarcity. In the past 18 months, Joey and Utopia have done just that, helping 150 nonprofits raise in excess of $25,000,000. As a part of their commitment to helping nonprofits scale, Joey and his team launched a coaching program to learn with and from nonprofits, uncovering the most complex challenges nonprofit executives are faced with: creating community, scaling impact, sharing meaningful stories, and uniting hearts through amazing event experiences. Through Joey’s coaching program, the real impact is scaled, as nonprofit executives crowdsource actionable strategies from fellow nonprofit peers, building community with each other as a result.
