Sherry Truhlar, CMP, BAS, CAI of Red Apple Auctions – works with schools and nonprofits to guide volunteers and planners in producing profitable fundraising auctions. While many auction galas suffered losses during the recession, most of her clients – an overwhelming 76% — achieved record-breaking events. She’s been covered or dished out auction advice on Town & Country, The Washington Post Magazine, AUCTIONEER and other magazines, and been seen on TLC and E! Style television programs. Having worked with hundreds of clients, she knows that every auction can improve, and offers classes and products to help each one achieve new levels of success.

Kim Bauman, Area Marketing Manager, Greater Giving, started using the company’s solutions as a parent volunteer for her children’s school auction in 2002. She was so impressed with the software and the company that she joined the team in 2005. Due to her commitment to area schools and nonprofits, Kim continues to volunteer to assist at a variety of fundraising events, honing her skills in using Greater Giving software to streamline event planning and execution and night-of-event check-in and checkout processes.
