Fine-tune your fund-a-need to help raise more in your next appeal!
A successful fund-a-need has the ability to bring a crowd of people together in support of your cause and create the emotional high-point of the evening. The fund-a-need is usually the single most profitable element of a fundraising auction, often out-performing the rest of the auction as a whole.
In this webinar, we will cover:
- Identifying a potentially successful need within your organization
- Setting realistic goals for your fund-a-need
- The pre-event donor development that ensures success
- How to tie what you need to individual donors
- Creating a sense of urgency for your need
- And marketing your appeal
Give your fund-a-need the importance and planning it deserves! Start focusing on it today.
About the Speaker
San Francisco-based Greg Quiroga has been conducting benefit auctions for over twelve years. During that time, he has conducted over 550 events for charitable organizations all over the United States, from Alaska to New York, helping raise tens of millions of dollars every year.
From the beginning of his career, Greg has focused on pre-event consulting with his clients to help set the stage for success the night of the auction. And while he believes that his onstage performance is what wins over audiences, he knows that it is his consulting advice that turns his clients into long-term partners.
The co-founder of Stellar Fundraising Auctions, Greg is a committed educator. He has conducted numerous workshops for non-profit fundraising auctions, twice presented at the National Auctioneer’s Association’s Benefit Auction Summit, and conducts educational conference calls for non-profits on a regular basis. Greg and his wife live in San Francisco with their son, Ryder, who sold his first auction lot when he was just four.
