Smiles for SMA’s Cole Parker Randall Memorial Golf Tournament

On Saturday, September 27, 2014, The Randall family along with Smiles for SMA, held the inaugural Cole Parker Randall Memorial Golf Tournament. This event had three objectives: To raise awareness of the number one genetic cause of mortality in infants; to raise funds for research to cure SMA; and most of all to honor the life and memory of Cole Parker Randall.

The Cole Parker Randall Foundation used Greater Giving’s Event Software and Go Time, and raised approximately $76K! We enjoyed how they seamlessly incorporated a fun golf event with an outdoor dinner, auction, and band. It was a celebration of life, filled with laughter and dancing.

The technology behind the scenes helped the small auction committee manage all the details leading up to and on the day of the event. “I’ve done other auctions that were so unorganized because of the system they used. Greater Giving is the easiest event software I’ve ever used. The whole process was great. It truly pays for itself by getting rid of all the stress. Go Time took me 1x to figure out how to use it. I could have trained myself on it because it was super easy,” said Nikki James, Check-in/Check-out Volunteer.
